Shea MoistureSr. Copywriter, TEN35
Next Black Millionaire Fund
One of the campaigns I’m most proud of was for SheaMoisture’s Next Black Millionaire Fund. The brand came to our agency, TEN35, with a really exciting three-part brief — they wanted to promote a documentary on Roku, retail end caps in Target, and a social campaign celebrating the winners of the Next Black Millionaire Fund.
My role as Copywriter was to help bring that story to life across channels — I developed social concepts and copy for Instagram and Facebook, highlighting the entrepreneurs, their products, and the broader cultural impact of the fund. I also collaborated with our art director to shape the creative look for the Target end caps and social visuals, ensuring everything told one cohesive story.
The campaign helped increase social engagement by roughly 25%, boost in-store product visibility by 30%, and drove strong viewership for the Roku documentary. It was a great example of how purpose, commerce, and culture can intersect in a meaningful way.”
